MEET LOGAN

Hi gorgeous, I’m Logan Roquemore, owner of Boudoir X Logan in Montclair, New Jersey.

​Today I photograph over 100 women a year in a studio I designed from the ground up.

 

But this business was born from the scariest moment in my career when I thought I’d lost everything.

​

HOW I GOT INTO BOUDOIR PHOTOGRAPHY

It’s 2020 and the world shuts down. 

​

The entire wedding industry plummets.

​

I, a wedding photographer with no backup career, crumble. 

​

No weddings. No income. ​

​

One thought:

“LIFE IS OVER. I'M GOING TO STARVE AND LOSE MY HOUSE WE JUST BOUGHT 14 DAYS AGO.”

​

Wrong. Oh, so, SO wrong. 

​

I pivoted. I used the lockdown months to renovate a detached studio on my property. I installed new floors, painted and built all the furniture by myself while my 18-month-old napped. I built a new brand that only required 3 people in the room: me, my hair and makeup artist, and my one client.

​

​All masked up, I invited my friends over for a free photoshoot to expand my portfolio. I already had some boudoir photos of brides I worked with in the past, but I was elevating my style and needed to learn how to shoot in the new studio I had just designed. 

​

Boudoir X Logan BOOMED. Clients started booking. They trusted me and women would drive and fly into my studio for this transformational experience.

 

One client left a review saying:

"boudoir should be a part of health insurance packages"

and that's when I knew I was providing women an open-ended healing experience.

In April 2021, I moved to a bigger, gorgeous studio in Montclair and kept building. By 2024, I’d expanded into the suite next door and added a branch of branding and content photography for female entrepreneurs and high-level execs.

​

Since 2020, I've developed the perfect recipe to photograph empowering portraits of women. More than 600 women have trusted me to celebrate their milestones, reclaim their confidence, and see themselves through a kinder lens. 

​

WHY MY STUDIO FEELS DIFFERENT

Before I was a photographer, I earned my degree in interior design from the New York School of Interior Design. That training guided every choice I made while designing my new studio, from lighting, to set design, to furniture curation. 

​

Every room is its own set and was designed for flattering light and real bodies, so your session feels less like a photoshoot and more like gallivanting around a private suite built just for you.

​

WHAT BOUDOIR MEANS TO ME

I’m here to help women feel seen again. Boudoir asks you to be a little vulnerable, to step outside your comfort zone and give yourself time and attention. 

​

What you get back is so much bigger than photos.

​

My sessions are about how you want to feel: powerful, elegant, confident, sensual, or all of the above. No two sessions look alike, and you never need to show more than feels right to you.

​

My mission is to inspire confidence, autonomy, and strength that lasts long after you leave the studio.
